I like change so it was important to me that every main piece of furniture in our home be neutral in color so I can change up my accessories/rugs often 💁keeping things fresh around here💕
Our kitchen for example is white on white on white with different textures to create interest. There’s bead board, ship lap & subway tile ! With everything being neutral I can add bright colored rugs, flowers, dishes etc & am able to change it up with the seasons for a fresh new look. I like our home to be unique to us & our style.
We used butcher block for our island to tie in the barn door color and add some interest. All of the lights in our kitchen are from amazon!

Under cabinet lighting is a must. It adds so much ambience to a kitchen! I went with battery operated puck lights that run on a remote control! It works perfect!
